Reviews of literature, films and more
Hi there,
This is not a new blog of mine -- it's been up on the Internet for some time, but just some moments ago I decided to publish my work all here and let everybody around me know that I've actually written numerous reviews and they are yet to be published. So I've given myself a chance to let them face the public.
More about myself:
I'm a full-time English teacher at a local university, teaching post-secondary school students. I'm also an MA student pursuing Journalism at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and I'm about to graduate.
What's fascinating to me:
books in all kinds: English literature, modern literature, travel books, cultural studies, social science, current issues, biographies, fiction and non-fiction, language books, references, cookery books, recipe, love and sex, gender studies, etc...
music: jazz, blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, classics in 80's, classical (Orchestra, Symphonic, Piano Solo, Duet, etc...)
painting: mainly western; Chinese calligraphy
films: something deep and thought-provoking
words: they are most fascinating in the world. Words are simply everywhere: leaflets, pamphlets, train stations, bus ads, minibus, magazines, newspaper... everywhere. I'm a word lover.

The posts of literature reviews are the assignments I did years ago when I was taking an English literature & fantasy module during my 3rd year at CityU. They might not be well-written and there might even be typos / careless mistakes.
